What date should I RSVP by? 01/04/2025 – We cannot accommodate late RSVPs.
What time should you be at the venue for? Arrivals between 13:00 & 13:45, our ceremony starts at 14:00. If you are late, please wait until after the ceremony is finished, the hotel reception will be on hand to guide you to stay until afterwards.
What is the dress code? We ask guests to dress formally: Black Tie – Tuxedos are not necessary, suits are preferred! We would also like to invite guests to wear an element of the colours we have chosen as part of the wedding whether that is an accessory or your entire dress is up to you!

Can I bring my own drinks? No, Washingborough Hall does not allow you to bring your own food nor drinks.
Is parking available at the venue? Yes – Parking is the the side of the Hall as the front will be used for photos.
How do I book a room? Please get in touch with us, we have a rooming list to fill. We will need to allocate the rooms to people and pay a 50% deposit by 01/06/2025, prices start at £97 for a single up to £207 for a suite, breakfast included. The remaining payment will be required on check-in.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors? Largely indoors depending on weather! There is a wet weather plan in place.
Can I bring a plus one? Children? Pets? Unfortunately we can only accommodate those who have received an invite.
Will there be an open bar? We have covered a Bucks Fizz or Peroni for our drinks reception, a glass of wine with the dinner and a prosecco to toast with a sparkling elderflower as a non-alcoholic alternative. Any additional drinks will be available to pay for at the bar.

I want to stay longer, any hotel/activity/restaurant recommendations? Lincolnshire is a lovely place to visit with a variety of places to stay and things to do. If you are looking outside of Lincoln, please get in touch and we can tell you about any opportunities. The Tower Hotel and the Castle Hotel are near the Cathedral Quarter and are good accommodation for exploring Lincoln!
Can I take pictures on my phone? We have hired a brilliant photographer Jarad, please be aware of him as he will be able to get fantastic photos of the day. We ask guests to turn off their phones for the ceremony and pictures. You are welcome to use them during the reception and we will share any photos when they are ready!
Can I change to comfier shoes for the reception? Absolutely, we are with you there!
Do I need to bring a gift? No, your presences is a gift enough, although we would love for you to bring some kind of recipe! This can be your favourite bake or go to dinner or anything of the same, there will be a folder near the entrance table to add to. There will also be a card box in the same location!
